Tasting comments

Floral, violet, cassis with a nice wood grip. Charming and fruity nose. Round, supple with real tension in the mouth which brings a certain straightness and tangy notes. Aerial final. 16/20

Chateau Fayat 2014Gault & Millau

The 2015 from La Dominique is bold, vibrant and full of energy. A host of black fruits, crème de cassis, mocha, violet, licorice, plum, mint and a smoky note that emerges from the glass. Although very daring, powerful and racy, this 2015 also has a strong tannic structure that balances the most obvious flavors. This wine is a first class effort from Dominica. 95/100

Chateau La Dominique 2015Antonio Galloni - Vinous

Under the same management as Château la Dominique in Saint-Émilion, this wine, dominated by ripe Merlot, is full, open and developing quickly. There's a rich edge to the black fruits as well as some powerful tannins that will need to soften. It is an open, generous wine, full of fruit and richly structured. 94/100
